Rogowski coil current sensors are preferred due to no magnetic saturation, no overheating, or no hysteresis loss. As such there are very low magnetic losses in Rogowski coils. And it has very low insertion impedance. It is able to sense the current flowing through the conductor.
The Rogowski coil sensor is shaped into a flexible coil of uniform cross section wound upon a non-ferrous core. The voltage measured across the coil will be proportional to the rate of change of the magnetic field. One characteristic of this configuration is the coaxial routing of the coil end back to the beginning.Flexible Rogowski coil AC current sensor are designed for easy installed in tight spaces and without the need for dismantling the primary busbar or cables. it can measure more than 10KA current value. Class 1%, linear 0.2%.
